Donate to Support Sickle Cell Project

My small company  produces pure carao fruit extract in Costa Rica.  Carao fruit therapy has shown itself to be extremely effective for anemia, including sickle cell anemia.  According to Dr. Attahiru Sokoto, pioneer in carao fruit therapy for sickle cell disease (left), it eliminates the painful, debilitating symptoms of sickle cell disease, and makes transfusions unnecessary.  More information.

We donate carao fruit to Dr. Sokoto's pediatrics ward of Sokoto State hospital in Nigeria, as well as to a small hospital in India headed by Rudradevananda.  Most of these patients come from poor families who cannot afford to buy the carao fruit product.

photo Dr. SokotoI am devoting 100% of donations to the LGS Webedit project to help pay for shipping for donations of carao fruit in Nigeria and other countries.  Shipping of one bottle of carao extract (365 ml) costs $5.62.  A patient (most of them children) needs 2 bottles to get 5 weeks' supply.  Therefore, I ask that you donate at least $11.  The beneficial effects of 5 weeks of carao fruit therapy last for over 6 months, according to Dr. Sokoto.  You can read many letters from those who have used carao fruit for sickle cell and other anemia here.  Dr. Sokoto or other donation recipients will send a "thankyou" email to each donor.

You can email Dr. Sokoto in Nigeria at attahirus at gmail.com.  (Spam prevention: replace the  'at' with '@' and remove the spaces.)  He would also be very grateful for donations of money or equipment to his hospital.

I receive donations for my carao fruit project through PayPal, but (in the USA) you do not need to have a PayPal account.  All major credit cards are accepted.  Standish and Co. (my company) will appear as the PayPal donation recipient.

If you would like to ask me a question about the sickle cell project, or require a different way to donate, please contact me.

Thanks in advance from Dr. Sokoto and Rudradevananda, their many sickle celll patients, and myself.  Photos of two of Dr. Sokoto's patients are below.

Appeal

Hallo, Iam moved by the numerous things you have done for sickle cell patients you have helped. I shall try my level best to continue supporting sickle cell patients. I thought it necessary to share a unique story with you. This is not Ochaya Jeremiah typing this letter but rather it is Okwiri James his brother . Jeremiah has been suffering with sickle cells for 19years, attacks, jaundice, mention but a few. Recently we read in a Leading newspaper in Uganda, a country in which we reside, that a treatment for sickle cells had been discovered. The news paper related a success story of a ugandan girl that was cured of the fatal disease. It was written that the treatment involves destroying the infected bone marrow through chemotherapy
and replacing it with healthy marrow. This operation is quite expensive for a family with a humble background such as ours, for example it is $250,000 in US,$30,000in India. Kindly offer me ideas and assistance in this situation. May God Bless you abundantly.

My work is in producing

My work is in producing carao fruit and promoting it for use for Sickle Cell. It is natural way to control Sickle Cell, and has uniformly given excellent results in several years of clinical use in Nigeria. The reports I have seen indicate that Sickle Cell is controlled with carao fruit, and is no longer fatal.

I think carao is safer and better than such invasive, drastic, and expensive treatments as you describe. For this reason, I would recommend that your brother try carao fruit. Furthermore, I have no ideas or information about how you could raise the enormous sum of money needed for the treatment you describe.

Unfortunately, I cannot donate the product to everyone who needs it or asks for it. Recently, I have adopted a policy of not making full donations of the product to those who contact me by Internet, since I think that Internet users for the most part are not among the poorest members of any society. However, if you are unable to afford the product for your brother, you can contact me to ask for a discount. Another issue might be difficulty in shipping the product to you via airmail. I have never shipped to Uganda, and do not know whether or not it is possible. For example, we once tried to ship to Cameroon, and it was a complete failure (several shipments lost, evidently stolen by postal workers).

The carao fruit product is sold on my company website at http://www.tropicalhealthfoods.com
